About
Kristin Gutierrez, M.S., LPA-Associate, NCC
Counselor, Consultant, Advocate for Liberated Healing
My name is Kristin Gutierrez. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Portia Gordon (#86646), offering services within the state of Texas. My objective is to help people rediscover themselves beneath the noise of expectation and generational weight. I have tailored my work to serve clients with ADHD, BIPOC adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are learning to break cycles, reclaim identity, and redirect their efforts beyond survival through the discovery of their unique paths to authentic freedom. I believe in meeting people where they are at; healing happens whenyou’re seen, heard, and honored as the expert of your own life.
My approach is person-centered and rooted in liberation. We’ll explore how culture, power, and history shape your story, while creating space for growth that feels real and sustainable. I am committed to our work that is collaborative and compassionate, and you can rely on me to be a source of resolute honesty. I’ll challenge you to unlearn the things that no longer serve you, to rediscover and rebuild the things that do, and to create a life that is grounded in your truth.
Areas of Focus:
Intergenerational & cultural trauma ADHD & emotional regulation Identity development (LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, multicultural) Life transitions, boundaries, and self-trust
What to Expect:
Our consultation will provide you with the opportunity to share your story, identify your goals, and express your hopes for healing. I will in turn explain more about my approach and how we can work together toward the change you want to see — in yourself or in your community.
