Comunidad Counseling

A Space Rooted in Community

The word “Comunidad” reflects something important in how I view healing.

Healing rarely happens in isolation. It happens in connection with ourselves, with others, and with the communities we belong to.

My goal is to create a counseling space that feels:

  • Warm

  • Affirming

  • Culturally respectful

  • Collaborative

  • Grounded in compassion

About Us

Who We Are

Comunidad Counseling was created with the belief that mental health care should feel human, welcoming, and rooted in community.

Too often, people are expected to carry their struggles alone—especially those navigating systemic barriers, cultural expectations, identity exploration, or the weight of generational patterns. At Comunidad Counseling, we offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and receive the support you deserve.

Who We Serve

Our practice is especially supportive of adults who:

• Identify as BIPOC
• Are neurodivergent
• Are part of the LGBTQIA+ community
• Are exploring identity or life transitions
• Are working to break intergenerational cycles and create new paths for themselves

You don’t have to explain or justify your experiences here. This is a space where your identity and lived experiences are respected and affirmed.

Our Approach

Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally grounded. We believe healing happens not only within individuals but within relationships and communities.

At Comunidad Counseling, we offer a warm, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are. This is a place where your story, identity, culture, and lived experiences are respected and honored.

Why Choose Us

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, even when you’re doing everything you can to hold it together.

You might find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling emotionally exhausted, or wondering why certain patterns keep repeating in your life. Maybe you’re navigating identity questions, feeling the weight of cultural expectations, or trying to make sense of experiences that others don’t fully understand.

If you’re neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or a BIPOC adult navigating systems and spaces that weren’t always designed with you in mind, it can sometimes feel like you’re carrying an extra layer of stress or isolation.

You don’t have to carry that alone.

At Comunidad Counseling, I offer a warm, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are. This is a place where your story, identity, culture, and lived experiences are respected and honored.
